Przegląd Epidemiologiczny - Epidemiological Review is a quarterly published since 1920 by the National Institute of Hygiene (currently the National Institute of Public Health NIH - National Research Institute), and since 1958 co-edited with the Polish Society of Epidemiologists and Infectious Diseases Physicians.

The journal publishes original articles, reviews and case reports in the areas of epidemiology, prevention and control of infectious and non-communicable diseases, and clinical reports on infectious diseases, reaserch papers public health and the history of these fields. The Epidemiological Chronicle publishes reports on the epidemiological situation of infectious diseases in Poland. From 2022, the Laboratory Medical Microbiology section publishes experimental and methodological papers in the field of medical microbiology in the area of bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic infections and their impact on public health.

The quarterly enables the exchange of views and scientific research results and includes evaluations of books and publications in the mentioned fields. Summaries and full texts of published articles are available free of charge, under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, in the Polish version, and since 2013 also in the English version on the website in PDF format.
